Elte is a leading retailer of fine rugs and broadloom in Toronto. One of the most compelling stories of their rug business is the relationship their in-house buyers have with international suppliers and producers and their involvement in the process of sourcing and designing these incredible one-of-a-kind hand-made pieces. There was an absence of these stories in Elte’s customer experience.
To solve this, three key rug collections were highlighted and and featured them on large graphic walls in-store. Each wall tells the unique story of each collection, while showcasing a featured rug. Storytelling hangtags were also created to increase awareness during the customer’s shopping experience. To extend the rug stories beyond just the in-store experience, Elte’s website was revamped to include detailed stories of their rugs as well as each collection.
